Colleen Murphy wrote a great post on the importance of sharing your humanity with your followers on social media that I think most small businesses should take to heart. The more “real” you are to your customers, the more likely they are to consider you their “friend” when your competitors come knocking on their doors. There is an element of fear involved in revealing a personal part of yourself to strangers. Most of us shake at the thought of showing our proverbial dirty underwear to the world to be judged. However, the rewards for doing so are a more loyal customer base and many more friends. Sounds like a win-win to me. Thanks for the great tips, Colleen, and for the wonderful sources for clothing.
